AVO, born in the Dominican Republic, emigrated to the United States of America at the age of 15, where he graduated from High School in the Bronx, NY. AVO started writing songs since he was 7 years old. He recorded his first song when he was 11 years old in the Dominican Republic. Since then, AVO has recorded more than 100 songs of which more than 50 have been officially released. In 2012, he worked with Golden Pen Studios to record his first song as a professional artist. In 2014, AVO teamed up with artist and producer Arez Flow to work on different styles with reference to the Bronx, NY. Since 2015, AVO has continued to work with different well-known producers and artists such as HighQuality, Nico Clinico, R-KeyO, Maximus Wel, and Dylan Voght to name a few. AVO brings their Dominican culture mixed with the culture of the Bronx, creating a unique sound. From 2018 onwards, AVO has been dedicated to hosting events throughout the United States and internationally. In 2022, AVO became one of the voting members of the Latin Grammy academy. AVO continues to delight their fans with events and songs that bring Caribbean energy to every party.
